**Job Purpose**:

- Provide expert level support to control systems engineering activities to contribute to department objectives in meeting Company strategy.

**Job Context & Major Challenge(s)**:

- Operates in technical environment with interface with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Required to contribute to other multi-disciplinary tasks whilst providing expertise in specialised area.

**Key Job Accountabilities**:

- Provide control system engineering support to contribute to the division strategy and goals. That includes design reviews, specifications review/update, studies, failure analysis and advanced troubleshooting.
- Define and document surveillance and administration programs for critical control systems to achieve high standards of reliability, availability, and cyber security.
- Define and document best practices within the area of expertise and recommend performance improvement initiatives.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert and/or as Technical Authority in area of specialization.
- Provide technical input related to area of expertise to other disciplines and functions as per requirements to support their business objectives.
- Control and supervise the activities undertaken by contractors, consultants, and service providers.
- Guide less experienced engineers in implementing the company integrity and reliability systems.
- Create and define competency development plan and mentor National developees to develop their capabilities and their knowledge.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

**Knowledge and/or Experience**:

- 8 years’ experience in an oil and gas environment.
- Experience in control systems such as Foxboro, Emerson, Honeywell, Triconex, CCC, PLCs and Applications such as AMS, APC, PI systems, etc.
