**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Systematically manages, handles, responds to, and reports on students' issues and concerns daily ensuring data is gathered, stored, and used to inform reports and action plans. regarding student’s well-being.
- To ensure all actions taken concerning student behavior and well-being stem from and align with the school’s vision, mission, values, and restorative approach.
- In collaboration with the counselling department, to ensure that publicity and information about student wellbeing are readily accessible to staff, parents, and students and establish high standards of conduct.
- To ensure appropriate students and event records are kept (Unit Letters-Social Media). Plans, coordinates, and supervises the execution of school activities as per the school calendar.
- Responsible for planning and coordinating and implementing the school enrichment and after-school programs. Responsible for communicating the school behavior policy and expectations to teachers, parents, and students via information sessions, workshops, meetings, correspondence, etc., as needed throughout the year.
- Leads on and ensures the implementation of the school’s behavior policy and restorative approach.
- Is a member of the Health and Safety Committee and carries out all needed activities to ensure that all facilities, including cafeteria and buses, are meeting the safety requirements in the building.
- Coordinates and supervises students’ activities, including field trips.
- In cooperation with the Principal, to ensure that appropriate action is taken in emergencies or crises such as student death, illness, or any other serious incident affecting individual students or a group.
- Sets and manages the duty roster.
- Sets and manages the detention and suspension program and supervises students on detention or suspension.
- Follow up on student behavior progress and coordinate between counselors, teachers, parents, and students to develop behavior intervention plans (Behavioural Intervention plan) and resolve issues.
- Responsible for the student council election process.
- Supervises and supports the student council.
- Teaches up to 12 sessions per week.
- Plan, train teachers, and follow up on an advisory program in cooperation with counselors and advisory or homeroom teachers.
- Carry out any other tasks of a similar nature as directed by the principals.
