In this role, you will be required to oversee and coordinate all operational aspects of the flying schedule, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely execution of Qatar Executive flight operations. You will also lead and manage QE Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) shift team, serving as the primary decision-maker and point of contact for real-time operational matters.
The role also involves close coordination with the Sales team to assess and support the feasibility of new flight requests and provide accurate and timely feedback.
As part of your role, your responsibilities will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following:
- Lead, direct and support QE IOC shift team ensuring effective coordination and clear communication throughout the shift
- Act as the point of escalation for operational matters, ensuring swift and appropriate action and effective communication to stakeholders via established channels
- Identify opportunities for improving operational processes, communication and decision-making within the IOC.
- Ensure actions and decisions taken within IOC are in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Operating Manuals and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to identify operational shortfalls or risks to pre-empt and prevent schedule
- Alert QE Management and recommend appropriate courses of action in response to safety contingencies, incidents and operational, commercial or scheduling disruptions
- Ensure a comprehensive and up-to-date Duty Manager handover is completed at the end of each shift and that the next team is suitably briefed. Promote the same high-standards of handover across all IOC Teams to maintain continuity and situational awareness.
- Support revenue generation by enabling quick responses to requests from the Sales team.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and disruption in accordance with established company reporting procedures
- Ensure enhanced oversight of the planning and execution of high-profile flights, providing exceptional operational support where required
- Coordinate with stakeholders to maximize aircraft and crew utilization

**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with minimum 7 years of job-related experience
- Extensive experience in aviation operations, preferably within a business aviation or charter environment.
- Proven experience in a lead or supervisory role within an Integrated Operations Centre (IOC), Operations Control Centre (OCC), or similar operational setting.
- Strong understanding of flight planning, crew scheduling, aircraft dispatch, and regulatory requirements (e.g., EASA, FAA, or local authority).
- Demonstrated ability to make effective real-time decisions in high-pressure, time-sensitive situations.
- Possession of Flight Dispatch License / Certificate or equivalent issued by a Regulatory Authority or approved institution.
