Newton British School, Muraikh is seeking an adaptable, enthusiastic and committed Mathematics Teacher to join our team.

NBS Muriakh is part of The Newton Group, founded in 2006 and is the largest network of schools in Qatar. Our international schools deliver the British National Curriculum. - have 3+ years of experience within British Curriculum schools

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

- Development of the Secondary pastoral programme
- Conducting professional development training programme
- Liaising with parents
- Promote culture of achievement, celebration and awards
- To ensure high and consistent attendance, challenging and monitoring as required
- To ensure a high standard of school uniform
- Supervising the safety and general welfare of students through being the Designated Safeguard Lead (DSL)
- Lesson observation and performance appraisal
- Providing a process of reporting regularly to parents on students’ academic and social development and ensuring all parents are aware of school’s procedures
- To collaborate closely with academic Heads of Department to ensure outstanding outcomes
- Be fully vaccinated (2+1booster) and submit a COVID-19 vaccination certificate.
