**Job Brief: Restaurant Runner**
**Responsibilities**:
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area promptly and accurately.
- Ensure food is presented properly before delivering to the table, ensuring order accuracy.
- Assist waitstaff with setting up and clearing tables, as well as refilling drinks and utensils.
- Ensure that guests have everything they need for an enjoyable dining experience.
- Monitor the dining area to ensure it remains clean and organized, addressing any issues promptly.
- Support kitchen and waitstaff in maintaining smooth service and addressing any guest requests.
- Help with food preparation and plate assembly when necessary, ensuring high standards of presentation.
- Handle any special requests or concerns from guests with professionalism and courtesy.
- Ensure health and safety standards are followed, including sanitation practices for food handling.
- Assist in restocking supplies and keeping the restaurant prepared for peak times.
**Job Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality role preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to carry multiple plates or trays of food at once and work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy trays or food orders.
- Ability to work well with a team and take direction from supervisors and waitstaff.
- A passion for delivering outstanding service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
