**Summary**

The Carpentry Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of the carpentry team. This position requires a strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, measurements and materials, as well as the ability to lead, train and motivate a team of carpenters.

The Carpentry Supervisor will also be responsible for traveling to different sites and locations to liaise with clients as needed and should always maintain good customer relations.

**Responsibilities**
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of carpenters and woodworking specialists in furniture production.
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, and design specifications to plan and execute furniture projects.
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, ensuring they meet company standards and customer expectations.
- Work in hand to lead, train and mentor carpenters to improve their skills and productivity.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to resolve technical issues and improve product designs.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and serve as the primary point of contact for communication, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and resolving concerns effectively.
- Travel to various sites and locations as required to oversee work progress, and to liaise with the clients.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust workforce and resources as needed to meet deadlines.

**Qualifications**
- Technical diploma in carpentry, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in carpentry, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and collaborate with team members.
- In-depth knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
- Proficient in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Valid Qatar driver's license and a clean driving record.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Carpentry: 10 years (required)
- Supervisory: 5 years (required)

License/Certification:

- Qatar driving license (required)
