**Job Overview**:
The Senior Project Engineer( Interface) may supervise Interface Engineers to achieve project objectives. They coordinate with other parts of the organization, PMT members and report directly to Project Director. Ensures activities (including approvals) and interfaces with all internal and external parties are undertaken in accordance with Project’s needs in general, and compatible with Project schedule and cost objectives to avoid delays, impacts.

**Key Tasks and Responsibility**:

- Identify, develop, coordinate, expedite and steward closure of Project Internal and External interface issues
- Manage all technical Interfaces, ensure comprehensive, multi-functional review of all requests and meets Project objectives, requirements, budget, and schedule.
- Assess information on overall Interface Agreements (IA) process performance and implement improvements ensuring that the process is fit for purpose, well established and maintained. Manage guidelines and procedures necessary to support and control the various Interface Agreement (IA) processes for the Project.
- Plan and organize the interface works and activities based on identified interfaces and priorities.
- Provides clear, accurate, timely, and consistent two-way communication with other organizations (internal & external) with respect to the exchange and alignment of interfaces related information and documentation.
- Act as a liaison between the Client and Project Team for the interfaces with the Client operations, including third-party agencies and subcontractors
- Manage and lead interface team ensuring to receive all inputs from other EPCs, engineering and construction teams to receive timely approvals of technical packages.
- Provide leadership and accountability for the Project interfaces with internal and external parties.
- Promote clear, accurate, timely, and consistent communication with internal organizations with respect to transferring interface information and documentation.
- Develop and Implement Project Interface Management Plan
- Develop, maintain and accountable for Interface Register for the Project.
- Chair Interface Weekly and Monthly meetings ensuring timely issuance and record of minutes of meetings and steward close out of action including update of the Interfaces Registers and Databases.
- Timely Identify and report area of concerns or unresolved interfaces issues to the Project Director/Manager.
- Responsible for generating weekly and monthly Interface reports. Provides input to weekly management reports.
- Works effectively within established procedures or creates and endorses new procedures as necessary for the Project.
- Works on a multi-million Project in a highly dynamic and multi-cultural environment that has tight-deadlines, high pressure and visibility, requiring accuracy, initiative and the ability to multi-task as essential skills.
- Operates in a multi-cultural and multi-national environment which requires professional conduct and proper office protocol.
- The position is dynamic and requires high commitment, capacity to take workload, discipline, facilitation and negotiating skills.
- Expected to have general awareness of requirements of project Interfaces with responsibility for:

- Qatargas OES Department
- Qatargas Operations - QG OPCO (North, South, Offshore).
- Other Qatargas Major Projects (i.e. EPCOL, COMP1, COMP3, COMP 8a, COMP9, NFXP,NFE, etc)
- Ministry of Environment (MME) and Ministry of Interior (MOI).

- Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC) and RLIC Operators (e.g QSGTL, Dolphin Energy, Barzan, Gasal, etc.).
