**Responsibilities**
- Writing back-end code and building efficient PHP modules.
- Developing back-end portals with an optimized database.
- Integrating data storage solutions.
- Responding to integration requests from front-end developers.
- Create and deploy a range of Web-based products using PHP, MySQL, Ajax, and JavaScript.
- Build back-end components, connect the app to other web services, and assist front-end developers
- Create, record, and maintain cutting-edge web-based PHP apps
- Using standard development tools, prepare and manage all apps.
- Provide technical advice and expertise to all product managers as well as other members of the team.
- Write technical and non-technical requirements, as well as keep track of all procedures.
- Communicate all task progress, assessments, ideas, and schedules, as well as technical and procedural challenges, effectively.
- Create client-specific interfaces, processes, and data analysis libraries using the most up-to-date technologies.
- Provide technical guidance for business decisions like performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
- Write all object-oriented PHP and SQL in a clean and fast manner.
- Maintain and modify existing websites, as well as develop semantic markup.
- Liaise with fellow backend and front end developers.
- Building and configuring Magento 2x eCommerce websites
- Updating website features and security patches.
- Coding of the Magento templates.

**Qualifications**
- High level of knowledge of PHP and the Laravel framework and CodeIgniter.
- Experienced in LAMP stack (Linux, Apache/Nginx, MySQL, PHP7)
- Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, and HTML5.
- Understanding of object-oriented PHP programming.
- Experience in Web Server stack is highly beneficial: Apache, Varnish, Redis, Ubuntu Server
- Proficient with code versioning tools such as Git
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of SQL/NoSQL and related databases
- Excellent understanding of fundamental PHP 7 or web server vulnerabilities, as well as how to fix them.
- Experience in building and managing a content management system (CMS) Understanding of MVC frameworks.
- Experience working with PHP, performing unit testing, and managing APIs such as REST.
- Thorough knowledge of database architecture and management.
- Expertise in code versioning toolsAbility to combine data from multiple sources and databases into a single system.
- Knowledge to work with technologies such as WordPress, Magento will be a bonus
- Experience with complete eCommerce lifecycle development.
- Ability to project-manage and work to strict deadlines.
- Ability to work in a team environment.

**Nice to have**
- Experience in Jenkins, Docker, Bash and Python Scripts, JavaScript
- Experience in building WordPress and Magento Plugins and Modules
- Designing Custom themes and interface for WordPress and Magento

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
