**Job Title: Design Mechanical Engineer (HVAC - Fire Fighting & Pumping Station)**

**Location: Qatar**

**Responsibilities**:

- **Design & Engineering**:

- Develop comprehensive designs for HVAC systems, fire fighting networks, and pumping stations in accordance with Qatari regulations and international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, QCDD).
- Perform detailed load calculations, equipment selection, and layout designs for HVAC and fire fighting systems, ensuring efficient integration with the overall building design.
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and bills of quantity (BOQ) for HVAC, fire fighting, and pumping station systems using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
- Conduct hydraulic and thermal calculations for HVAC and fire fighting systems, ensuring optimal design efficiency and safety.
- **Installation & Commissioning Support**:

- Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning of HVAC, fire fighting systems, and pumping stations.
- Supervise the installation process to ensure that designs are followed accurately and safety standards are maintained.
- Oversee testing, adjusting, and balancing of HVAC systems, fire suppression systems, and pumping stations to achieve optimal performance.
- **Compliance & Documentation**:

- Ensure designs comply with local regulatory standards, including QCDD and international standards like ASHRAE, NFPA.
- Prepare and submit all necessary documentation for regulatory approvals related to HVAC, fire fighting, and pumping systems.
- Provide as-built documentation and ensure that final designs reflect any field modifications made during construction.
- **Technical Support & Innovation**:

- Stay updated on the latest developments in HVAC, fire fighting, and pumping station technologies.
- Implement energy-efficient design solutions and sustainable practices in mechanical systems.
- Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting during project execution and post-installation.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in designing HVAC, fire fighting systems, and pumping stations.
- Proficient in design tools like AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, Fire Elite, Pipenet and other related software.
- Strong understanding of Qatari and international mechanical design codes and standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
