**Senior Quantity Surveyor** for **Ashghal project** in Qatar, the responsibilities usually involve extensive knowledge of Ashghal standards and previous experience working with Ashghal projects.

**Your new role, what's involved?**
- Preparing detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities for tender submissions.
- Assisting in tender evaluations, cost planning, and advising on tender strategies.
- Analyzing and interpreting project specifications and requirements as outlined by Ashghal standards
- Monitoring contractual obligations and ensuring project costs are aligned with the budget.
- Conducting regular project valuations and preparing cash flow forecasts.
- Managing the assessment and preparation of claims, variation orders, and extension of time (EOT) claims.
- Coordinating with contractors, consultants, and Ashghal representatives to ensure compliance with Ashghal’s claims procedures.
- Providing support in dispute resolution, including claims negotiation and settlement.
- Continuously tracking project costs, conducting risk assessments, and providing advice on financial risks.
- Ensuring robust cost control processes to maintain financial accountability and project profitability.
- Preparing monthly financial reports, progress reports, and cost control summaries for project stakeholders.
- Conducting quality checks and audits to ensure compliance with local laws and Ashghal standards.
- Liaising with Ashghal representatives, project management teams, and contractors to align on project requirements and standards.
- Facilitating clear communication between the project team and Ashghal to ensure smooth project execution.
- Keeping thorough documentation of all project costs, variations, and claims, ensuring all records align with Ashghal standards.
- Preparing detailed reports on cost performance, claims, and financial risks for project managers and Ashghal stakeholders
- Providing guidance and mentorship to junior quantity surveyors and project staff, especially on Ashghal-specific standards and procedures

**We'd love to hear from you if you have**:

- Bachelors Degree in Civil or Quantity Surveying or Equivalent
- Total experience (Post Graduate) 15 years
- Similar experience 7 years
- Must be registered in MMUP (mandatory)
