**QA/QC Inspector (Electrical)**

**Qatar**

Parsons is looking for an experienced and talented **QA/QC Inspector (Electrical)**to join our team in Qatar In this role, you will ensure that all electrical installations and equipment meet project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. You will play a critical role in inspecting, monitoring, and documenting electrical works to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Conduct inspections to verify that electrical work complies with contract specifications, relevant standards, and regulations.
- Perform inspection activities for electrical installations, including traffic signals, ramp metering, street lighting, Medium Voltage (MV), Low Voltage (LV), and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems.
- Maintain project-related office files, quantity calculations, and daily diaries.
- Prepare daily reports and other documentation as required by the contract.
- Verify that only approved materials are incorporated into the work.
- Perform labor compliance interviews and maintain as-built plans.
- Identify potential conflicts, issues, and problems, propose possible solutions, and advise the supervisor.
- Collect, review, and file Certificates of Compliance, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), inspection tags, and other material-related documentation.
- Assist in the development of job safety practices and reports.
- Support the creation of quality control procedures and reports.
- Document nonconformance and participate in determining appropriate resolutions.
- Provide technical guidance to lower-level inspectors as needed.
- Perform work in a safe manner, ensuring public safety and adherence to safety protocols.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical construction, inspection, or a related field, preferably as an electrical inspector in a consultancy or engineering environment.
- MMUP-certified Engineer is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and familiarity with local and international electrical codes and standards, including Kahramaa standards and QCS specifications.
- Familiarity with inspection tools and equipment.
