**Job Overview**

The Junior Accountant is responsible for managing Phi Med’s finances. This includes assisting the Senior Accountant with preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.

**Responsibilities & Duties**
- Coordinates with HR to issue monthly salaries to staff members.
- Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
- Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Secures financial information by completing database backups.
- Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
- Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
- Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
- Completes ad hoc tasks as requested by the Senior Accountant.

**Competency (knowledge, skills, & abilities)**
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Must have at least 3 years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of the financial regulations in Qatar
- Deadline-Oriented with strong attention to details
- Strong numerical and accounting skills
- Excellent time-management and data entry skills
- Excellent computer skills
