**Position Summary**:
The Banquet Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of banquet events, ensuring that all guests experience exceptional service. They will coordinate with the banquet team and other departments to ensure that event setups, services, and breakdowns are carried out efficiently. The Banquet Supervisor will also manage the team, assign duties, and ensure adherence to company standards and safety protocols.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and supervise the setup, service, and breakdown of banquet functions as per client and event requirements.
- Lead, motivate, and train the banquet team including servers, bartenders, and support staff.
- Assign duties and responsibilities to banquet staff, ensuring efficient operations during the event.
- Ensure that all team members are informed about the event details and client expectations.
- **Guest Service**:

- Act as the main point of contact for guests and event organizers during the event, ensuring all needs are met.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and handle any issues or complaints to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Monitor food and beverage service standards, ensuring high quality and consistency.
- Ensure that health and safety regulations, as well as hygiene standards, are followed during the event.
- Manage the inventory of banquet supplies including linens, glassware, and cutlery.
- Ensure all equipment and supplies are prepared and ready for events.
- Ensure cost-effective use of resources without compromising service quality.
- Track and manage labor costs during events, keeping within the allocated budget
- Prepare post-event reports to highlight successes, areas for improvement, and any inventory discrepancies.
- Conduct post-event briefings with the team to discuss event performance and guest feedback.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management or related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a banquet or event management role.
- Previous experience in a supervisory position is preferred.
