Land Surveyor - Roads and Infrastructure
**Job Description**:
As a Land Surveyor for road construction projects, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate measurements, mapping, and analysis of land areas to support the planning, design, and construction of roads. You will utilize various surveying techniques, equipment, and software to collect and analyze data, produce detailed reports, and collaborate with the project team to ensure the successful completion of road construction projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct field surveys using surveying instruments, such as total stations, GPS receivers, and levels, to determine precise locations, elevations, distances, and angles.
- Set up control points, benchmarks, and reference markers on construction sites for accurate measurement and alignment during road construction.
- Perform topographic surveys to identify and map natural and man-made features, including contours, vegetation, utilities, structures, and boundaries.
- Collect and analyze survey data, including measurements, calculations, and drawings, using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other tools.
- Prepare accurate and detailed survey reports, maps, and drawings, highlighting critical information for road construction planning, design, and execution.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure that survey data aligns with project requirements and specifications.
- Assist in the preparation of construction plans, including site layout, grading, and drainage, based on survey findings.
- Monitor and inspect road construction activities to verify compliance with design plans, specifications, and survey data.
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors in survey data and take corrective measures as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and regulations during surveying activities.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Land Surveyor, preferably in road construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and equipment.
- Proficiency in using surveying instruments, such as total stations, GPS receivers, and levels.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other surveying tools.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to interpret design plans, maps, and legal documents.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Salary**: QAR7,000.00 - QAR8,000.00 per month
