**Job Summary**:
As an Electronics Technician specializing in the Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) department, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing ELV systems, which include security systems, fire alarm systems, public address systems, and other low voltage electronic systems. Your role ensures the effective functioning and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Installation and Setup**:

- Install ELV systems such as CCTV, access control systems, fire alarms, public address systems, and other low voltage systems.
- Configure and program systems as per client requirements and project specifications.

2. **Maintenance and Repair**:

- Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure all systems are functioning optimally.
- Diagnose and repair faults in ELV systems.
- Replace faulty components and upgrade systems as necessary.

3. **Testing and Commissioning**:

- Perform system testing and commissioning activities to verify that installations meet technical specifications and safety standards.
- Prepare detailed reports on testing and commissioning activities.

4. **Technical Support**:

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients and end-users.
- Offer guidance and training on the proper use and maintenance of ELV systems.

5. **Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Prepare and update documentation such as service reports, installation logs, and maintenance schedules.

6. **Compliance and Safety**:

- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Adhere to safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

7. **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other technicians to ensure successful project completion.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate ELV systems with other building management systems.

**Qualifications**:

- Basic ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certification in ELV or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of ELV systems and components.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with various ELV systems and installation techniques.
