**Job Summary**:
Mechanical Design Engineers design mech. systems (HVAC, PL, FF) according to standards of QCS and QCD, and to fulfill the client Requirement and match with the project time frame.

**Responsibilities**:

- Experience in the knowledge of design of mechanical systems consisting of HVAC, Plumbing/Drainage, and Fire Protection and a successful track of delivering detailed designs to the highest international standards.
- Read and design drawings and standard detail drawings, specifications, schematic diagrams, sequence operation.
- Conceptualization of system requirements based on project nature.
- Understands multi-disciplinary design processes.
- Develop conceptual design and preliminary design documents, including calc operation sequencing es, control logic.
- Develop final design deliverables including specification, operation sequences, control logic, mechanical layouts, schematics, schedule of equipment, and final construction documents.
- Have thorough knowledge of codes related to the design.
- Have thorough knowledge of mechanical software such as Cooling/Heating (HAP) Load calculations, Aerodynamic Calculations, Hydronic Calculations, etc. (mandatory).
- Selection of mechanical equipment
- Preparation of data sheet for major equipment.
- Preparation of tender specification.
- Preparation of design reports.
- Inter-discipline coordination.
- Vendor coordination for equipment selection.
- Review meeting with End-Users.
- Site visit to handle client/vendor queries, input collection & design coordination.
- Observes safety and security procedures; report potentially unsafe conditions; use equipment and materials properly.

**Job Requirements & Skills**
- Bachelor's Mechanical Engineering
- Having 5 to 10 years of design experience
- Must possess UPDA Grade B/ C
- Required knowledge in using AutoCAD, MS Office and preferably Revit.
- Good experience in specifications, validation, evaluation, and documentation of mechanical design.
- Prepare calculations, hydraulic calculations, Elite, drawings, and specifications.
- Familiar with international standards and codes.
- Skilled in the use of computer software for design & Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office and Revit.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Maintains effective communication with project team members, other departments, suppliers, and clients.
- Listen and communicate effectively and professionally.
