Perform periodic routine operations such as switch-over of filters or pumps or equipment start
- up and shut-down, include filling IM tankers, Safe Work Permit, control in the field activities.
- Patrol work area and listen for warning signals to determine potential malfunctions, taking necessary corrective and preventive actions where required.
- Report abnormal operation situations to supervisory personnel and management.
- Monitor and adjust process parameters to ensure operation safety and product quality /reliability
- Take corrective actions in response to warning signals where required.
- Ensure facility start-up and shut down, deriving of plant and specific qualification requested as well as ensuring first line plant security and safety.
- Secure and isolate equipment from the process when on-line maintenance is scheduled incoordination with instrumentation and electrical maintenance technicians.
- Secure plant or control room in case of emergency and operate back
- up systems.
- Train and develop new comer workers ensuring all necessary safety training and technical instructions are provided to the workers.
- Provide first instructions to visitors and other plant personnel in case of emergency or a site visit.
- Identify emergency situations and perform security and safety reporting ensuring all HSE&Q instructions are strictly followed by workers.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Technician degree in Production, Maintenance or other equivalent Technical Departments
- An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable

**Minimum Experience**:

- Proven experience as an operator in a production environment
- Minimum 2+ years experience
