**Position: Waste Management Facilities Supervisor **for Operation & Maintenance of the Waste Management Facility (WMF).

**Qualification**: B. Tech in Environmental / Civil / Chemical Engineering or any other equivalent degree.

**Experience**: Total 10 years of relevant experience out of which 7 years shall be in Waste Management as facility in-charge at a large sized landfill.

Shall possess a valid Qatari driving license.

**Responsibilities**:
Facility Supervisor shall be able to lead the entire team to carry out the operation & maintenance of the Waste Management Facility (WMF) comprising of Inert Waste
Landfills, Domestic Waste Transfer Station, Temporary Chemicals Storage Yard, Land,Treatment Unit, etc.

He shall be able to effectively organize the waste haulage from the waste generator as directed / advised by client.

He shall, develop HSE conscious culture and ensure effective disposal of the received hazardous wastes.

He shall have knowledge of Waste Classification / Characterization as well as other relevant hazardous waste disposal & treatment regulations.

He shall be able to optimize the WMF operation of the Facility.

Other responsibilities of Facility Supervisor include but not limited to the following:

- Assigns, directs and reviews activities of WMF work crews; provides / arranges safety and job training to WMF work crews.
- Ensures WMF operations are in compliance with the approved Operating Plan and

Permit.
- Provides technical information to WMF operations personnel on proper disposal of waste material and maintenance of WMF, facilities, and equipment.
- Assigns and supervises the construction of driveways required for vehicles to reach dumping sites.
- Ensures samples of water are taken from the WMF monitoring wells and analytical measurements are taken as required; ensures transport of samples to laboratory for more extensive tests as required; reads and interprets laboratory reports.
- Monitors equipment maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure that equipment is properly maintained.
- Inspects WMF facilities to ensure waste is disposed properly, and buildings and grounds are properly maintained.
- Maintains records and prepares reports of equipment, material, and personnel usage; operates computer to input data and print reports.
- Requisitions or purchases needed materials or supplies; recommends to

CONTRACTOR purchase or replacement of equipment.
- Receives and investigates any complaints regarding WMF operations;
