**Job Summary**:
The AC Technician is responsible for installing air conditioning systems, repairing, and maintenance. This role ensures that all HVAC _(Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning)_ systems are functioning optimally, adhering to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
**Responsibilities**:
**Installation**:
- Install new air conditioning systems, including split systems, central air systems, and ductless mini-split systems, according to manufacturer specifications and local codes.
- Set up and connect electrical components, refrigerant lines, and ductwork for proper system operation.
- Perform system start-up and check for proper operation, including testing air flow, refrigerant levels, and electrical connections.
**Repair**:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with air conditioning systems, including problems with cooling, airflow, and electrical components.
- Repair or replace faulty components, such as compressors, evaporators, condensers, thermostats, and circuit boards.
- Respond to emergency service calls and perform repairs to restore system functionality and comfort.
**Maintenance**:
- Perform routine maintenance on air conditioning systems, including cleaning, inspecting, and servicing components such as filters, coils, and condensate drains.
- Check and adjust refrigerant levels, electrical connections, and system controls to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
**Skills & Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification or degree in HVAC Technology or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician, with experience in maintenance roles preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and safety practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret HVAC blueprints and diagrams.
- Proficient in using HVAC diagnostic tools and hand tools.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Doha: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)
