We are looking for **Project Engineering Specialist - Brownfield** for one of our clients with the

following details:
**Start Date: ASAP**

**Duration: 36 Months**

**Location: Doha, Qatar**

Qualifications & Experience Required:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 8 years experience with medium and large with high complex FEED/EPC contracts primarily in the energy business and having exposure to managing major and first tier EPC contractors, subcontractors and vendors in the oil and gas industry

Job Responsibilities
- Review and analyse the engineering specifications, design reports, data sheets in line with project specific requirements ensuring compliance with QatarEnergy LNG policies.
- Coordinate engineering activities for tender preparation by participating in specification / ITT development, bid evaluation, contractor selection, identification and sourcing of long lead equipment and review of project documents prepared by Contractor
- Provide technical support during the planning and execution stages of the project Working with the Engineering group and interfacing with other teams to ensure project requirements are met and delivered on time.
- Coordinate the different aspects of engineering and design in support of the project objectives as well as provides transition bridging between various project stages such as engineering and procurement to construction to completion to start up. Monitor progress in assigned areas and scopes and takes necessary actions to ensure timely completion of the milestones/deliverables.
- Provide timely review of contractor's documents/deliverables ensuring project deliverables are achieved in accordance with the project milestones, budget and technical requirements
- Evaluate the performance of contractors throughout the project life cycle. and guide the contractors to ensure compliance on the use of design codes, Global Practices and other business standard guidelines and relevant policies, processes and procedures.
- Facilitate capturing and communicating lessons learned for the project and ensuring that lessons learned are considered in all phases of the project.
- Attend the project main reviews including project risk sessions such as What-If, HAZID, HAZOP, Model Reviews, Constructability Reviews, SIMOPS and work as focal point to close out the actions.
- Provide support at project sites (brownfield-South and North) during the project phases to achieve all project targets with flawless execution in timely manner. Ensure all aspects covered in the brownfield toolkit are properly evaluated and implemented.
- Liaise with existing plant Operations/maintenance and Operations Expansion & Startup team to review the project deliverables and tasks and to perform the project activities in the running plant facilities without compromising the Plant Safety and reliability.
