**Job Objectives**:

- Enable server and client security using including assessment of security updates in order to ensure that Qatalum's assets and properties are protected from any potential threats.
- Prepare plans for back-up, disaster recovery plans and perform back-up and restore procedures, for all servers and their running systems across whole Qatalum to ensure the protection Qatalum's intellectual property and mission critical documentation.
- Perform all duties relating to assisting users in their daily work such as administration of file storage, common areas, user home directories, mailboxes and clients to ensure users have the necessary tools to execute their jobs efficiently.
- As an active member of the 24X7 IT Infrastructure team member provide support o the entire company site to ensure maximum availability and reliability.
- Provide input and recommend the continuous improvement of the company practices taking into account 'international best practice', changes in international standards and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans.
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of department system, processes and practices, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
- Comply with all agreed occupational health, safety and environmental regulations in order to protect personnel and physical assets. Ensure that the work areas are kept in a clean and tidy state in order that work can be carried out safely and effectively.
- Adherence to world class best practices for safety, health and environmental standards.
- Ensure the departmental reports are prepared as per management request, in a timely and accurate manner to meet company and department requirements governing reporting.

**Minimum Qualifications Required**
- Bachelor Degree in an IT or IT related field

**Minimum Experience Required**:

- 6-8 years experience in similar position handling large IT Infrastructures

**Job Specific Skills**:

- Understands Recovery plan procedure, Disaster recovery plan, Security, High Availability and redundancy from IT Server operation perspectives.
- Knowledge of the most recent versions of Windows Server and operating systems.
- Knowledge of the most recent versions of Windows products like MS SQL, Exchange, SharePoint, System Center Configuration Manager and Communication Server.
- Knowledge of Security on Windows platforms.
- Knowledge of Active Directory
- Knowledge of VMware
- Knowledge of SAN storage
- Knowledge of Hyper Converged Infrastructure
- Knowledge of Blade Technology
- Customer Focus
- Fluency in English
