Quality Inspector -Mechanical

KBR is actively looking for the below positions

for an Upcoming Project to be based in

Qatar.

Quality Inspector - Mechanical

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
Accountable for RFI management

Implement QA/QC activities in accordance with approved ITPs and procedures, method statements and other Contract documents.

Prepare and sign-off applicable records for quality surveillance / inspections / tests.

Maintain records of calibration, inspection and testing equipment.

Ensure availability of appropriate version of applicable work documents.

Witness and participate in qualification procedures, tests, inspection and certify the results

Provide feed-back to Quality Engineer on the day to day quality issues.

Perform Quality surveillance and monitoring of all activities as per ITP

Perform material receiving inspection

Ensure Preservation and storage of received material are in compliance with requirements.

**Education, Skills & Experience**:
HND in relevant engineering discipline (mechanical, welding, material, process etc.). Alternative qualification may be accepted at the discretion of Company

Shall Hold recognized valid certification for NDT, Welding, Painting / Coting, ATEX/ EX

Experience and Skill set

Minimum 8 years' experience in Oil and Gas Industry

Minimum 5 years' experience in Brown Field Oil and Gas related project delivery

Minimum 5 years' experience in Brown Field Oil and Gas Project Delivery as a Umbrella Contract Senior Quality Engineer

Flawless Project Delivery / management of repeated failure Experience

Experience with interfacing with other disciplines, i.e. electrical, process, rotating mechanical, civil, static mechanical and technical
