Cswip 3.1 - Welding Inspector - Piping

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform visual inspection of welds in piping systems to ensure compliance with WPS (Welding Procedure Specification).
- Monitor and verify welding parameters, including preheat, interpass temperature, and heat input.
- Review and verify welding documentation including WPS, PQR, and welder qualifications.
- Conduct fit-up and dimensional inspections for piping spools, joints, and final installations.
- Witness and inspect hydrostatic and pneumatic tests for piping systems.
- Coordinate with NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) teams and review NDT reports.
- Raise NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and follow up on corrective actions.
- Maintain welding inspection records and generate daily, weekly, and final inspection reports.
- Ensure welding consumables are stored and handled as per applicable codes.
- Attend quality meetings and interface with clients, consultants, and third-party inspectors.

**Qualifications**:

- **CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector certification** (mandatory).
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in welding inspection, with a strong focus on **piping**.
- Familiarity with ASME B31.3, B31.1, API 1104, and other piping codes.
- Experience working on oil & gas, petrochemical, or similar projects.

**Job Types**: Temporary, Contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: QAR9,500.00 - QAR10,000.00 per month
