**Your Role as a Science Teacher**:
At Newton Lagoon, no two days are the same As a Science Teacher, you will:
- Deliver **exciting Chemistry and/or Biology lessons** to pupils in **Key Stages 3, 4, and 5**.
- Spark curiosity and encourage critical thinking with hands-on experiments and engaging teaching methods.
- Guide pupils to success in **IGCSE** and **AS examinations**.
- Mentor pupils and help them unlock their potential in and out of the classroom.
- Collaborate with a forward-thinking team to enhance our Science curriculum.
- Create an inspiring, inclusive, and safe classroom environment where every pupil thrives.
**What You Bring to the Table**:
We’re looking for educators who:
- Hold a **Bachelor’s degree** in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field (**Master’s degree** is a plus).
- Possess a **recognised teaching qualification** (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Have proven experience teaching Chemistry and/or Biology at **Key Stages 3, 4, and 5**.
- Are well-versed in the **British National Curriculum**.
- Excel at classroom management and know how to spark pupil engagement.
- Are committed to ongoing professional development and thrive in collaborative settings.
- Communicate effectively and inspire confidence in pupils, parents, and colleagues.
