**Job Purpose**:
To lead the planning and scheduling functions for engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction (EPC) activities across complex offshore structural projects. The Senior Planning Engineer ensures accurate project tracking, timely deliverables, and risk mitigation through effective use of Primavera P6 and related tools.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules (Level 1 to Level 4) using **Primavera P6**.
- Develop project **baseline schedules**, monitor progress, and perform periodic updates.
- Integrate **engineering, procurement, fabrication**, and **construction** activities into a unified **master schedule**.
- Conduct **resource loading**, **manpower forecasting**, and **productivity analysis**.
- Coordinate with engineering and fabrication teams to align schedule **deliverables and milestones**.
- Monitor **critical path** and **key project activities**, providing early warnings to prevent potential delays.
- Generate **weekly/monthly progress reports**, including **S-Curves**, **Earned Value Analysis (EVA)**, and **progress charts**.
- Conduct **schedule risk analysis** and contribute to **schedule optimization** initiatives.
- Provide planning input for **proposals**, including **man-hour estimates** and **project timelines**.
- Ensure compliance with **client requirements**, **project specifications**, and internal **planning procedures**.
- Lead internal **planning meetings** and participate in **client-facing progress reviews**.
- Identify and log **variations**, potential delays, and assist in **claims management**.
- Support preparation of **recovery plans** for slippages and maintain **delay analysis records**.

**Key Skills and Competencies**:

- **Expertise in Primavera P6** (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of the **EPC project lifecycle**, particularly in **offshore structural fabrication**:

- Proficient in **MS Excel**, **MS Project**, and reporting tools
- Knowledge of **resource loading**, **delay analysis**, and planning best practices
- Familiarity with **fabrication yard operations**, **offshore modules**, **jackets**, and **heavy structures**:

- Excellent **communication**, **coordination**, and **interpersonal** skills
- Ability to **work independently** and manage multiple priorities under **tight deadlines**:

- Basic awareness of **cost management and budgeting**

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in **Mechanical Engineering** or a related engineering discipline
- Certification in **Primavera P6** (preferred)

**Additional Requirements**:

- Prior experience in **offshore module fabrication**, **jackets**, **topsides**, **decks**, or **heavy structural components**:

- Previous experience with **EPC contractors** or in the **oil & gas/fabrication** sector is a strong advantage
