**Position**:Procurement Officer (Food and Beverage Industry)**

**Job Summary**:
The Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing and purchasing the food, beverages, and other materials required for daily operations. They ensure that goods are sourced at competitive prices, of high quality, and are delivered on time to maintain smooth operations.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management within the food and beverage industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and negotiate pricing effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sourcing standards.
- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Identify and source suppliers of raw materials, ingredients, and packaging materials needed for food and beverage production.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure the best possible deal for the company.
- Maintain relationships with key suppliers and ensure that quality standards are met consistently.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the storekeeper and other departments to ensure timely replenishment of supplies.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and ensure that all paperwork is properly documented.
- Keep track of supplier performance, including delivery times, quality, and pricing.
- Collaborate with other departments to forecast needs and purchase accordingly.
- Review and analyze market trends, identifying opportunities to improve purchasing processes and reduce costs.
- Ensure that all procurement activities comply with food safety and quality regulations.

Assist in managing the procurement budget and ensuring that costs are controlled.
