Senior UX/UI Designer

We're looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer with a passion for creating intuitive and engaging digital experiences. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the discovery and design phases of projects, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding user-centric solutions for a prestigious client of EPAM, an international company based in Qatar.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery phase: Conduct workshops, interviews, and analytics to understand user needs and gather insights
• Generate user personas: Interpret data and feedback to develop comprehensive understanding of user behaviors, goals, and pain points
• Visualize design concepts: Create journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and other design artifacts to communicate and visualize ideas
• Plan information architecture: Design seamless navigation and intuitive user experiences for one app domain
• Translate requirements: Combine UX thinking with business, user, and technical constraints to create user-friendly solutions
• Facilitate design thinking: Conduct workshops and prototyping to address critical business questions
• Conduct user tests and research: Gather feedback and validate design decisions through user testing and research activities
• Improve information architecture: Assess existing structure, conduct content audits, and identify areas for enhancement

**requirements**

• 6+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creativity
• Proficiency in Android/iOS app development, understanding the technical aspects and limitations of mobile platforms
• Adaptability to work on various projects and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with a creative and analytical approach to design challenges
• In-depth understanding of interaction design principles, user-centered design methodologies, and usability best practices
• Attention to detail and a passion for delivering pixel-perfect designs
• Expertise in industry-standard design tools such as XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Azure RP
• Familiarity with business metrics and the ability to translate company goals and objectives into compelling digital experiences

ADDITIONAL

• You will be working on site, from our client's office in Doha
• The working schedule is 5 days a week, from Sunday to Thursday (In Qatar, weekend is Friday to Saturday)
• Formal business attire is required
