QA Qc Engineer(Oil and Gas)

**Job Summary**:
The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all operations, construction, and commissioning activities within the Oil and Gas project adhere to the highest standards of quality control and quality assurance. This position requires a strong understanding of industry codes and standards, inspection practices, and the ability to implement quality management systems effectively.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Quality Assurance & Control**:

- Develop and implement QA/QC procedures, guidelines, and practices to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, API, ASME).
- Conduct inspections, audits, and assessments on materials, processes, and work operations to ensure compliance with specified standards.
- Review technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and standards to verify that all work meets project requirements.
- Coordinate with various teams to ensure quality compliance at every stage of the project lifecycle.

**Inspection & Testing**:

- Plan and supervise inspections and tests of materials, equipment, and structures to ensure they meet the required specifications.
- Prepare and submit inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and deviation reports.
- Oversee the testing process and ensure correct procedures are followed during installation, construction, and commissioning.

**Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain detailed records of inspections, audits, testing, and non-conformances.
- Ensure that all documentation is up to date and in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on quality performance and project status.

**Root Cause Analysis**:

- Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and propose corrective actions to resolve any issues.
- Implement and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to ensure continuous improvement.

**Compliance & Safety**:

- Ensure that all QA/QC processes comply with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations.
- Promote a culture of safety within the QA/QC function and ensure safety protocols are followed during inspections and audits.

**Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with project management, engineering teams, and contractors to maintain high standards of quality.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to resolve quality-related issues and ensure timely project delivery.

**Qualifications & Skills**:
**Education**:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering preferred) or related field.

**Experience**:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA/QC roles within the Oil and Gas industry, with a proven track record of handling large-scale projects.

**Certifications**:

- Certification in Quality Management (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, ASNT) is preferred.
- Knowledge of international codes and standards (e.g., API, ASME, ASTM) is essential.

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of inspection techniques, methods, and materials used in the Oil and Gas sector.
- Proficiency in QA/QC software tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

**Other Requirements**:

- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Must have Oil & Gas industry experience.
- Must have Qatar Driving license.
- Transferable Visa with NOC will be preferred.
