Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Lead Process Engineer **to join our team In this role you will be responsible for the technical leadership and design management accountability for process engineering aspects in the delivery of capital projects and engineering services for wastewater treatment facilities and other water and wastewater related projects.

COMPETENCIES AND TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:

- Knowledge and experience in municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plant processes including pumping stations, inlet works, biological treatment processes chemical treatment, tertiary filtration, membrane treatment processes, Disinfection systems, Sludge treatment, Odour Control.
- Knowledge and expertise in process modelling software such as BIOWIN.
- Knowledge and expertise in dealing with septicity related studies and models.
- Design Management experience in complex capital projects within the water and wastewater treatment, and water reuse.
- Knowledge and awareness in Ashghal specifications, QCS and other GCC standards and specifications.
- Effective communicator of ideas, project goals and results.
- Working with mínimal supervision.
- Strong technical leadership, collaboration, and sound business value-based prioritization and problem solving skills.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

- Environmental / Chemical/ Biochemical Engineering or a related Degree with Minimum 15 years or more in the water and wastewater industry in Consultancy and at least 10 years in the Middle East and mainly involved in process design and design management services for projects.
- Professional Engineer/ Chartered Engineer registration is desirable.
- Potential to perform in a lead capacity, excellent written and oral communications skills, and a familiarity with state-of-the art industry practices and regulations.
- Must also possess a solid knowledge of current technologies.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Possess excellent English written skills
- Possess excellent English oral communication skills with an ability to form effective relationships with Project Delivery Team, Clients, and Contractors.
- Possess the ability to write letters, technical instructions, develop analytical reports and presentations.
- Must demonstrate the ability to effectively execute and manage complex tasks, this includes effective problem solving and exercising excellent judgment regarding timing and senior management involvement in significant issues.
