**DRAWLINES ENGINEERING CONSULTANT** is looking for **Mechanical Technician **in **Doha, Qatar**

**Years of experience**: Minimum 8 Years

**Project Site Location**:Offshore (Accommodation / Transportation / Food will be provided)

**Educational qualifications**:

- Completion of Secondary (12 years) education followed by further technical OND or equivalent standard in Mechanical Engineering Diploma/ Trade certificate in Mechanical.
- Good knowledge in written and spoken English
- Minimum 8 years in overhauling pumps, compressors and diesel engines in water treatment plants, potable water networks, with at least 3 years of experience in Oil and Gas industry or similar facilities
- Diagnoses faults, carry out routine maintenance, repair and overhaul of various items of equipment and plant such as blowers, compressors, pumps, diesel generators, valves etc.
- Experience in uPVC, copper, DI, HDPE, GRE, CS piping repairing work, troubleshoot the maintenance faults and providing on-job training to less experienced technicians.
- Hands on experience with Work Permit system Oil and Gas industry.
