**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Surface Preparation**:

- Inspect and prepare various surfaces (e.g., walls, ceilings, doors) for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, and filling cracks or holes.
- Remove old paint using paint removers, wire brushes, or blowtorches when necessary.
- **Paint Application**:

- Mix, match, and adjust paints and colors to match existing or desired finishes.
- **Safety and Quality Control**:

- Follow all safety guidelines for the use of paints, solvents, and protective equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness in work areas and manage paint supplies.
- Ensure all painted surfaces meet quality standards and perform touch-ups when required.
- **Maintenance and Repairs**:

- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to ensure that all painted areas are in good condition.
- Repair and repaint damaged areas as necessary.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other facility management team members such as technicians, electricians, and supervisors.
- Communicate with supervisors regarding paint requirements, completion status, and work-related concerns.
- **Record Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including materials used, areas painted, and time taken for each job.
- Ensure inventory of paint and related materials is well-stocked and report low supplies to management.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Experience**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience as a painter, preferably in a facility management or maintenance role.
- Familiarity with various painting techniques and materials, including water
- and oil-based paints.
- **Skills**:

- Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
- Ability to work efficiently in both interior and exterior environments.
- Knowledge of safety procedures when working with paints and solvents.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights when required.
- **Certifications**:

- Facility management or painting-related certifications are an advantage but not mandatory.

**Working Conditions**:

- 12-hour duty with a 1-hour break.
- Working in different environments, including residential and commercial facilities.
- Use of safety gear such as masks, gloves, and goggles may be required depending on the job.

Pay: QAR1,800.00 - QAR2,000.00 per month
