Doha, Qatar Plaza Inn Hotel Full time

Assist in the implementation of the Hotel’s chart of accounts and to up-date newly created accounts into the computer system.
- Ensures proper maintenance and accuracy of accounting ledgers and subsidiary records.
- Collects and maintains all transaction documents necessary for posting to the journals and ledgers.
- Review and checks the work of Accounts Payable Supervisor and ensures that the distribution of accounting charges for all purchases are accurate and in accordance with the Hotel’s Charts of Accounts. Also ensures adequate documentation and approvals of all purchase.
- Review and checks Income Auditor Daily’s Report against Night Auditor’s Report.
- Review and checks Store month end closing report and ensures that the store items stock under control.
- Prepares monthly adjustment journals and controlling accounts for prepayment, accrued expenses.
- Prepares all monthly closing journals entries and its supporting schedules for all Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Accounts items.
- Assists in closing the books of accounts at the financial month-end and the timely preparation of financial data and reports.
- Prepares monthly bank reconciliation statement for all hotels’ accounts.
- Prepares monthly reconciliation for each General Ledger accounts
- Prepare Monthly Financial Statement Report
- Ensures that Fixed Assets Register is maintained and up-to-date.
- Prepares Analysis of prepayment and accrual schedules and distribution to respective accounts on a monthly basis.
- Any other assignment or responsibilities as delegated by the Financial Controller.
