**Qualification & Requirement**:Completion of Secondary Technical (12 years) education followed by OND and 2 years full time formal training as a draughtsman to Ordinary National Diploma level or equivalent Proficient in the use of AutoCAD Good command of English, verbal and written.

**Nature of Experience**: 5 -7 years’ experience in the Civil and Architectural drafting works for buildings, infrastructure, landscaping and roads, preferably in civil projects for oil and gas facilities.

**Primary Purpose of the Job**:To produce Civil design drawing such as layouts and details relating to modifications to existing equipment and installations, or related to new projects for all Dukhan fields oil, gas and condensate facilities, their satellite plants and services, oil & gas flowlines, trunklines, wellheads and transmission networks.

**Principal Accountabilities**:

- Produces Civil design drawings using primarily AutoCAD and carrying out a variety of modification drawing work related to Civil drawings. To achieve this includes carrying out research in the archives, visiting Production Stations, taking measurements, making sketches and familiarizing himself with scope of work and area. The design work may include buildings and grounds, re-routing of pipes, repositioning equipment, new plant layouts and installations, drainage details, foundations, steel/concrete/civil structures, building modifications, updating drawings for ‘as built’. The purpose being to produce design drawings for construction of tender purpose to complete the works as requested either via a MOC or as part of a Contract.
- Prepares material take-off only for in-house works in coordination with OEE(D) Mechanical/Civil Engineer by examining CLIENT’s and international standards for detailed specification of material to be used and preparing appropriate materials procurement documentation to enable the accurate ordering of materials either in—house or by Contractors.
- Prepares designs and drawings for project works, either on the basis of sketches supplied by project engineers or brief instructions, preparing appropriately detailed drawings for subsequent amendment. Maintains and updates the drawing number registers and records system as projects progress. For new work marks up the associated existing drawings to assist in updating as built drawings at a later date.
- Operates AutoCAD programs and other drafting and office programs.

**Salary**: 4k to 4.5k (Shared Bach. Accommodation & Transportation Provided by Company)
