We are looking for a Senior/Housekeeping Supervisor to join our Gloria Hotel & Suites team.

Under the guidance of the HK & Laundry management, the Senior Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department. This includes managing a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are kept clean and tidy, and ensuring all equipment and supplies are available and in good working condition.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise the housekeeping staff to ensure that guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards during their shift.
- Coordinate and assign daily work schedules for the housekeeping staff.
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained.
- Follow through daily tasks allocated to staff to ensure all rooms are clean.
- Ensure all rooms status are updated and reflect accurately on the system.
- Coordinate with Front office team daily on the expected arrivals and the rooms are clean and ready.
- Ensure that all housekeeping equipment and supplies are available and in good working condition.
- Train new housekeeping staff and provide ongoing training and development for existing staff.
- Assist in develop and implement housekeeping procedures and policies to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Maintain accurate records of housekeeping activities, such as room occupancy rates and cleaning schedules.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve any issues related to housekeeping.
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed by the housekeeping staff.
- Participate in large cleaning projects as required
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of housekeeping supplies.

Requirements and Skills:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a housekeeping supervisory role in a 4-star or 5 stars hotel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and chemical usage.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to motivate and lead a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and prior experience in housekeeping management software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to climb stairs and work at heights.
