**A leading energy company is looking for someone to head up their Cloud Centre of Excellence. As the person in charge, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of the department's cloud adoption and strategic cloud roadmap.**:
**You will also be responsible for promoting a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and digitalization related to the cloud. Additionally, you will work to establish and maintain communities of practice within the company to facilitate collaboration and knowledge-sharing.**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the planning and execution of the company's cloud adoption and strategic cloud roadmap
- Establish communities of practice and promote a culture of continuous cloud improvement, modernization, innovation, and digitalization
- Define the company's cloud strategic direction and review the strategy based on performance and opportunity identification
- Develop cloud forums, reporting structures, financial policies, and security frameworks to standardize ICT processes for decision-making, approvals, escalations, etc.
- Identify key stakeholders and manage cloud vendor relationships to ensure alignment between concerned entities
- Manage workforce upskilling and knowledge transfer by overseeing cloud training and knowledge transfer processes
- Determine and analyze cloud KPIs and metrics to assess and monitor the performance of the company's cloud activities and usage
- Develop cloud performance dashboards and monitor cloud usage volumetrics to understand current trends
- Identify cost-optimization opportunities and define spending thresholds to limit vendor service expenditures and avoid spending on non-essential services with low value-added
- Manage the pipeline and orchestrate cloud project management and oversee cloud migration processes across all phases of the transformation journey
- Oversee and manage new cloud implementation projects and supervise the company's cloud capacity analysis and services capacities
- Supervise cloud major incidents and ensure the alignment of the company's cloud security and compliance policies with best-practice standards and regulations
- Manage, execute, and report on the company's cloud migration strategy and adoption frameworks
- Provide cloud solution and architecture technical consulting expertise
- Oversee cloud system planning, management, design, and monitoring
- Manage operations linked to the building of the company's cloud environment
- Design, develop, and implement the Cloud Landing Zone
- Design and develop the target reference architecture model for the company and Cloud Service Providers

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree (required) and Master's degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an appropriate Engineering/Business field
- Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in enterprise IT environment, with at least 5 years of demonstrated cloud technology management and adoption specifically in Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and/or Data Center as a Service (DCaaS) and/or SAP HANA migration and transformation with Oil and Gas industry experience is an asset
- In-depth knowledge and extensive experience of cloud management, planning, and execution
- Professional certifications in Microsoft Azure, Google, AWS & Cloud Security (preferred)
- Demonstrates a commitment to quality and continuous improvement
- Excellent people management, problem-solving, persuasion, negotiation, and decision-making skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and communicate with a multi-cultural and multi-national workforce
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate concepts as appropriate to customers, contractors, and staff
