**Maintenance Supervisor (Fire alarm system, firefighting & Fire Suppression)**

Main Responsibilities:
Ø Supervising the maintenance of fire detection, fire protection and life safety system maintenance as per NFPA & QCDD codes.

Ø Daily monitoring of fire and life safety system to make sure all are in good working condition all-time.

Ø Report preparation and documentation.

Ø

Ø Patrolling the site regularly and check the following equipment.

Ø Fire alarm system, firefighting system and fire suppression system.

Ø Technical premises: Electrical, heating & ventilation, other areas for fire safety issues.

Ø The presence of obstacles could block the automated fire doors & emergency access.

Ø Accumulation combustible materials.

Ø Equipment and scheduled rounds.

Ø Attend the fire alarm cases immediately.

Ø Use fire extinguishing system, portable, stand by fire fighting vehicle to extinguish the fire.

**Requirements**:
Ø Minimum of diploma in engineering.

Ø Preferred diploma/ industrial training/ in engineering.

Ø Minimum 3 years’ Experience inspection, testing and maintenance of fire alarm, fire protection and fire suppression system.

Ø Capable for site survey, Preparation of BOQ.

Ø Advanced firefighting course or Civil defence approved advances firefighting training.

Ø Driving License -Is an advantage.

Ø IOSH/ Nebosh HSE at work course - Is an advantage.

Ø 5 years of experience as fire alarm and firefighting maintenance supervisor.

Ø Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Ø Knowledge in safety management.

Ø Good knowledge of fire alarm. Sprinkler system, gaseous suppression system & aspirating detection system.

Ø Fire prevention program.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)

**Language**:

- english (preferred)
