**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions using a cash register.
- Maintain accurate cash drawer and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide information about products and services.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
- Balance the cash register at the end of each shift and prepare daily reports.
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and security.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
