We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Pavement Engineer to join our Roads Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team in Doha, Qatar. In this critical role, you will lead pavement engineering projects, oversee maintenance operations, and ensure the longevity and quality of road infrastructure in the region. - Develop and implement comprehensive pavement design strategies for new road construction and rehabilitation projects - Conduct detailed pavement analysis and performance evaluations using advanced engineering software - Lead and coordinate road maintenance activities, ensuring optimal pavement conditions and extended service life - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute efficient O&M plans for road infrastructure - Analyze pavement distress data and recommend appropriate maintenance and rehabilitation measures - Ensure compliance with local and international pavement design standards and specifications - Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and presentations for senior management and clients - Contribute to the development and implementation of quality control and assurance programs for road construction and maintenance - Stay updated on the latest advancements in pavement engineering and incorporate innovative solutions into projects **Qualifications** - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree in Pavement Engineering or a related field is preferred - Minimum of 8 years of experience in pavement engineering, with a focus on roads operations and maintenance - Proven expertise in pavement design, analysis, and rehabilitation techniques - Proficiency in pavement design and analysis software, AutoCAD or similar CAD software, and project management tools - Strong knowledge of local and international pavement design standards and specifications - Demonstrated experience in managing complex pavement engineering projects from conception to completion - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail - Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously - Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders - Familiarity with quality control and assurance practices in road construction and maintenance - Willingness to work in Doha, Qatar, and adapt to local working conditions **Additional Information
