**Roles and responsibilities**:
1.Perform microscopic examination of tissue specimens to identify and diagnose diseases, including cancers, infections, and other abnormalities.

1. Analyze, interpret, and document histological findings, preparing detailed reports for referring physicians and other healthcare professionals.

2. Employ a range of diagnostic techniques, including immunochemistry, electron microscopy, and molecular testing, to further investigate and confirm diagnoses when necessary.

3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, to discuss and analyze patient cases, provide expert advice and recommendations, and participate in treatment planning.

4. Ensure accurate and complete specimen identification, tracking, and documentation throughout the entire diagnostic process, maintaining strict adherence to quality control and laboratory safety protocols.

5. Stay current with the latest research and developments in the field of histopathology, attending conferences, seminars, and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills.

6. Participate in quality assurance programs and contribute to the improvement of laboratory processes and procedures.

7. Assist in the development and implementation of new diagnostic techniques, protocols, and technologies to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of histopathological diagnoses.

8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation of all performed analyses, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

**Required Qualifications**

1. Medical degree or equivalent from an accredited medical school.

2. Expertise in BL2 Histopathology Lab/BSL 3 Post mortem.

3. 10 years experience working in histopathology laboratory.
