Asst. Ac Technician

We are looking for an experienced Assistant AC Technician who is responsible for assisting senior technicians in performing preventive maintenance, basic repairs, and servicing of air conditioning systems such as split units, package units, and ducted systems. The role involves handling basic HVAC tools, ensuring proper upkeep of equipment, and maintaining safe and clean working conditions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist senior technicians in carrying out preventive maintenance and minor repair work on AC systems.
- Perform cleaning of filters, coils, drain lines, and air outlets as per maintenance schedules.
- Support in checking refrigerant pressure, electrical connections, and system operation.
- Handle basic hand tools and measuring instruments safely and efficiently.
- Help in loading, unloading, and installation of AC units and accessories.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure tools are properly organized after each task.
- Report any abnormalities, faults, or safety hazards to the immediate supervisor.
- Follow all HSE guidelines and use proper PPE while performing site activities.
- Assist in emergency service calls and troubleshooting activities as directed.
- Participate in on-the-job training to enhance technical knowledge.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the Supervisor or HVAC Engineer.

**Accountability**:

- Support timely completion of preventive maintenance tasks.
- Maintain proper handling and care of tools and equipment.
- Ensure accurate reporting of maintenance activities to the supervisor.
- Comply with company safety and quality standards.

**Qualification/Technical Skills**:
**Educational Qualification**: Diploma / ITI certification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent)

**Experience**: Minimum 5-8 years of hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing refrigeration systems.

**Specialized Skills**:

- Basic understanding of HVAC system components.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures.
- Familiarity with basic HVAC tools and safety practices.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to work in different environmental conditions.
- Basic English reading and communication skills.
- Awareness of Company IMS and HSE Policy.
- Languages: Hindi / English.

**Area of Experience**: Air conditioning & Refrigeration Trouble Shooting, Prevntive Maintenace, knowledge of Ref. Spare Parts etc.,
