Primary Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting:o Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with regulatory and company guidelines.o Review, analyze, and report on the financial performance of the company, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.o Ensure compliance with all financial reporting deadlines.2. Month-End/Year-End Close:o Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.o Reconcile general ledger accounts, including asset and liability accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.o Prepare and post journal entries.3. Audit and Compliance:o Assist in coordinating external audits, ensuring all necessary information and reports are provided.o Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.o Stay updated with changes in tax laws, regulations, and accounting principles (e.g., GAAP or IFRS) to ensure compliance.4. Budgeting and Forecasting:o Support the finance team in preparing budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analyses.o Monitor actual results against budget and provide insights into variances.5. Account Reconciliation:o Review and reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and other financial transactions.o Investigate discrepancies and resolve any issues or errors in financial records.6. Team Leadership and Training:o Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support.o Assist in developing and implementing accounting procedures and policies.7. Software and Systems:o Utilize accounting software (e.g., Odoo) to manage financial data and transactions.o Propose system improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree). **5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.** Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. **Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.** Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. **Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.**

Soft Skills:

- Strong organizational and time management skills. **Problem-solving ability and a proactive approach.** Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Pay: QAR4,500.00 per month
