**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee the preparation, cooking, and plating of all continental dishes on the menu, ensuring consistent quality, taste, and presentation.
- Menu Development: Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to develop new continental dishes, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative culinary techniques.
- Manage and maintain the continental section of the kitchen, ensuring mise en place is complete, ingredients are fresh, and the station is organized and efficient.
- Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff within the continental section, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Ensure the consistent quality of all continental dishes, adhering to taste, presentation, and portion standards.
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene in the continental section, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels for the continental section, ensuring proper rotation of stock and minimizing waste.
- Assist in managing food costs for the continental section, ensuring profitability while maintaining quality standards.
**Qualifications**:
- Can speak English well, and Arabic (preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or Chef de Partie, with a demonstrated expertise in Italian and continental cuisine.
- Strong culinary skills, including knife handling, cooking techniques, and plating presentation. Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- In-depth knowledge of continental cuisine, including classic and modern dishes, ingredients, and flavor profiles. Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training is preferred.
Pay: QAR3,000.00 per month
