**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Design, deploy, and maintain secure and scalable cloud and on-premise infrastructure systems.

2. Lead cloud migration initiatives and implement best practices for hybrid infrastructure environments.

3. Configure and manage cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) including compute, networking, storage, and security.

4. Implement automation for provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and scaling infrastructure components.

5. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the reliability and availability of services.

6. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve infrastructure-related issues and outages in a timely manner.

7. Collaborate with development teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native workflows.

8. Enforce security policies and manage access controls across cloud and infrastructure environments.

9. Maintain technical documentation for architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.

10. Research and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance infrastructure efficiency and security.

11. Develop automation scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

12. Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to define infrastructure requirements and ensure seamless integration of solutions.

13. Ensure all systems and infrastructure comply with security policies and best practices, including network security, access controls, and data protection.

14. Participate in disaster recovery planning, backup, and recovery testing to ensure business continuity.

15. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the company’s infrastructure.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering with a strong focus on cloud technologies.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies.
- Deep understanding of networking, firewalls, DNS, VPNs, and security protocols.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Experience with system monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
- Knowledge of databases, storage architectures, and high-availability systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and cloud-related issues.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, Google Professional Cloud Architect, CompTIA Network+, or Cisco CCNA.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (Chef, Puppet, or SaltStack).
- Knowledge of logging and observability platforms like ELK Stack, Fluentd, or similar.
- Understanding of cost optimization strategies and cloud billing management.
- Experience in designing fault-tolerant and resilient cloud infrastructure architectures.
