**Job description**

As an ELV / Low Current System Design Engineer, you will support the Sales Engineer, ELV Implementation Engineer, and Project Team in the design, production of drawings, and delivery of systems including IT, telecom, security, fire alarm, queue management, CCTV, access control, and clinical IT infrastructure. You will also provide guidance on best practices for system design and deployment while working closely with local authorities for approvals.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **System Design**: Responsible for the design and follow-up of active and passive IT, telecom, security systems (CCTV, fire alarms, access control), and clinical IT infrastructure.
- **Collaboration**: Work alongside Sales Engineers, Installation Engineers, Project Management, and other teams to ensure the seamless execution of design projects.
- **Approval Process**: Communicate with the Ministry of Interior and other local authorities for project approvals and follow up on the approval process.
- **Technical Documentation**: Prepare IT design calculations, UPS power calculations, network storage calculations, drawings, specifications, and tender documents for the design projects.
- **Design Coordination**: Participate in design coordination meetings, review designs, and ensure progress through meetings and reports.
- **Project Management Support**: Provide design review, support QA/QC procedures, and supervise draftsmen on design options.
- **Vendor Coordination**: Communicate with vendors for BOQ (Bill of Quantities), costing, technical solutions, and ensure adherence to standards and client requirements.
- **Design Validation**: Validate and check design drawings for IT/communications systems and security during planning and construction phases.
- **Continued Learning**: Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in converged backbone and IP telephony systems.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in the design of active and passive IT, telecom, security, and low current systems.
- Experience with system design tools and software.
- Strong understanding of telecom, fire alarm, CCTV, and access control systems.
- Familiarity with local authority requirements and approval processes.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to manage vendors and project teams.
- Ability to provide innovative solutions and guidance during the design and construction phases.
