**Job Duties / Responsibilities**:

- Oversee all design projects, from conception to delivery
- Meet with clients to determine project requirements
- Define project requirements and schedule during the “brief”
- Interpret and translate customer needs into basic sketches for proposals
- Assist in setting costs and project fees according to budget
- Research and decide on materials and products sourcing, furniture and furnishings selection, lighting design and space detailing
- Prepare mood boards and material boards
- Prepare detailed working drawings, designs, plans, models and schemes, often using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Create a timeline for the interior design project and estimate project costs
- Develop and maintain schedules for design concepts and material approvals
- Delegate task assignments to designers and draftsmen and set timelines for work completion
- Supervise, check and monitor work progress of designers and draftsmen
- Work closely with designers, draftsmen & project team, including quantity surveyor, architects, foremen, engineers
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers relating to the design requirements
- Conduct thorough research and follow industry standards, be up to date with materials and follow best practices
- Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Graduate of Interior Design or related courses
- At least 5+ years of experience as Interior Designer
- With experience of supervising other interior designers
- Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software, Sketchup, 3D Max, Illustrator, and other design programs
- Communication and presentation skills
- Excellent portfolio of previous works
- Has a valid QID / transferable visa
- Available to join immediately
- Currently residing in Doha
