**1. JOB PURPOSE**:
Responsible for positive guest interactions while accurately mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a friendly and efficient manner. Expected to be attentive at all times to the guests' needs and make them feel welcomed, comfortable, important, and relaxed.
**2. ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
**Operational**
- Greet guests and take beverage orders from restaurant servers and/or directly from guests.
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, cocktails, and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with approved standards.
- Check guests' identification to verify age requirements for the purchase or consumption of alcohol.
- Ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with the tools and products needed for mixing and serving beverages.
- Assist in preparing weekly/monthly inventory or purchase requisitions as needed to replenish supplies.
- Serve beverages, snacks, or food items to guests seated at the bar.
- Maintain a clean working area by sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning the workspace as required.
- Stock the bar and maintain proper inventory; prepare mise-en-place for each shift.
- Provide guidance to guests in selecting beverage drinks.
- Perform other departmental duties related to the position as directed by the Head of Department.
