**Job description**:
Are you an experienced Technical Writer with a passion for producing accurate, high-quality, and reader-friendly reports and communications? Are you skilled at distilling complex information into concise and easy-to-understand content? If so we are seeking a talented individual to join a major Oil and Gas operator in Qatar as Lead of Technical Writing.

**About the Role**:
As the Lead of Technical Writing, you will be responsible for creating a wide range of written materials, from internal memos to shareholder reports, for a major Oil and Gas project. You will play a crucial role in parsing and distilling project updates from various sources, including the EPC Contractor and PMT, into consolidated reports and presentations. This position reports to the Head of Reporting (Shared Resources) and is based at the Site Offices in RLIC, Qatar.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Produce reports, presentations, and other written communication in compliance with Company policies, procedures, and project requirements.
Demonstrate sufficient technical knowledge to distill complex topics and synthesize information from multiple sources, delivering accurate content in an easy-to-understand manner for diverse audiences.
Collaborate with PMT material owners to create valuable deliverables that minimize manual handling of data and align with industry best practices and lessons learned.
Support the review process to capture changes requested by stakeholders, allowing for multiple cycles at different management levels.
Review and revise reporting deliverables to meet evolving demands and ensure alignment with specific audiences and stakeholders.

**Requirements**:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in a relevant field.
Strong experience in project, hydrocarbon, or petrochemical industry roles.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Expert proficiency in written and spoken English.
Strong technical skills, including proficiency in word processing, desktop publishing, project planning and scheduling, spreadsheets, graphics, technical drawing, and other computer-related utilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS SharePoint.
Excellent coordination, analytical, and writing skills.
