Qatar Airways is currently recruiting for Senior Stores Helper for Group Uniforms Department.

Responsible to Act as the Messenger of the Group Uniform Department and assist all teams by performing a variety of duties with relation to the preparation and dispatching of documents and uniforms within QR and Outstation Cargo and uniform shipments to QR Outstations, stock handling and storekeeping in duties.

Specific responsibilities of the role include:
Operational
- Acting as the Department Messenger including the dispatching of all documents, delivery and collection of all documents within QR. Preparation and dispatching of shipping documents within QR Departments, other subsidiaries and outstations cargo.
- Prepare and repack of the uniforms to be shipped to QR Outstations.
- Assisting admin for the purchase of office stationaries through petty cash.
- Collection of the procured stationaries from Procurement Department. Collecting and receiving of uniform items from the main warehouse.
- Assist in the Uniform Store daily operations by performing stock keeping, shelving and handling of uniforms for physical issuance. Assist in loading and unloading of uniform items.
- Assist the Customer Services Team with uniform physical issuance as per their requirements.
- Preparation of uniform items for new joiners as per the Supervisor instructions.
- Maintain records for the returned uniform items from Outstations.
- Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe and efficient workplace environment allowing quick and easy access to uniform items.
- Participate in the Inventory stock count, assist with the physical checks of inventory and daily monitoring all uniform items to ensure they are in good conditions for issuance to Doha based staff and QR Outstations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned ensuring efficient and effective functioning of the unit.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve overall objectives of this position.

Qualifications
- Basic Literacy and Numeracy skills.
- English communication skills.
- 2 Years job related experience
- Must be physically fit and capable of handling the day-to-day operations at the stores.
- Must have the ability to stand, climb, bend, and lift merchandise of up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.
