Job description
- To operate the various system and equipment of the Central parts or plant rooms of the facilities in a safe and optimum manner. The operation of the system/equipment includes but not limited to : AHU, FCU, UFT, BMS, CHILLERS, COOLING TOWERS, FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS, etc
- To monitor, control and maintain the continuous, uninterrupted provision of utilities such as power and water. To maintain the climatic condition of the premises for its intended purpose such as human occupancy, data center, cold storage, etc.
- To prepare/update the logbooks for various operations-related activities.
- To read, assess, and review the operations parameters. To study, judge the system/equipment behavior and take appropriate actions as per the policies and procedures.
- To generate daily operation reports, shift reports, plan trip reports, Reports that relate to PTLS and other operations-related activities.
- To work as permit controller in the activities of managing Permit to work process by effectively and proactively carrying the isolation/de-isolation worksite preparation, lockout and tagging activities.
- To monitor the trend of equipment/system performance and to take corrective measures whenever any variation is noticed.
- To initiate/process/monitor the work requests in CAFM or any other computerized system or in through any other Computerized system or through the manual process as adapted
