**Job Title**: Senior Surface Water Drainage Engineer (MME Registered)
**Location**: Doha

**Registration**: Mandatory - MME Registered (Ministry of Municipality and Environment - Qatar)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the design and development of surface water drainage and stormwater management systems for infrastructure and land development projects.
- Prepare and review drainage impact assessments, hydrologic and hydraulic calculations, and flood risk analyses.
- Supervise and guide junior engineers and CAD technicians in preparing design drawings, reports, and specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and technical evaluations to ensure compliance with project specifications and MME standards.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including transportation, utilities, and environmental engineers.
- Liaise with clients, regulatory authorities (especially MME), and other stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals and permits.
- Ensure all project work complies with local and international standards, environmental regulations, and quality assurance procedures.
- Support project management activities including budgeting, scheduling, and progress reporting.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in surface water drainage and stormwater systems.
- **MME registration is mandatory.**:

- Strong knowledge of drainage design software such as InfoWorks ICM, HEC-RAS, StormCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS.
- Proven track record in delivering complex infrastructure projects within budget and on time.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and mentor junior staff effectively.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in Gulf region infrastructure projects, especially within Qatar.
- PMP or similar project management certification is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of environmental impact assessment related to drainage systems.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 8 months

Pay: QAR9,000.00 - QAR11,000.00 per month
